Theres been a lot of talk over the years for setting up a GAA affiliated Gaelic club on the GC. Well, its finally here...
Gold Coast Gaels is the Gold Coasts first GAA club and we will be competing in the Queensland league from March 2014.
Firstly, we will be looking for players for a mens football team to start with, however, our vision for the future includes multiple mens, women's and youths football and hurling teams.
In keeping with the GAA tradition, our club will host frequent social events with Irish culture in mind and create a central Irish hub for the Gold Coast. For those not keen to play, we will have social membership also.
We are truly excited to be up and running and very much look forward to your support in the future.
